Why can't I access certain areas of the site?
You probably aren't registered as a Lean Community member. Without registration, you only have access to the Who We Are section and, in the Community section, the Lean Presentations Library and the Map Pad Icons. Registration gives you access to all our content, including original Success Stories, an archive of Jim Womack's messages to the Lean Community, Forums, and much, much more. Registration also is needed to order books or sign up for workshops. Registration is free, secure, and private. LEI has never sold, swapped, or rented registration information and never will.

Why can't I log in?
Using the wrong password or the wrong browser settings causes the vast majority of these problems. They're easy to fix.
If you received a "Record not found" message, click the "Email my password" button on the right. Otherwise, put your cursor over the Home tab at the top of the homepage at www.lean.org. Click on "Member login." In the pop-up box, fill in your name and hit "Email my password." Your password will be sent right back to you.
If you still get an error message, check your browser's privacy setting. A "Strong" setting prevents a login because the LEI site uses temporary files called session cookies for secure purchases and to identify you as a registered member. The cookies disappear when you end your session. They are not stored permanently on your computer.
In Explorer, go to Tools> Internet Options> Privacy. Slide the bar to "Medium."
