Before establishing her consulting practice in 2013, Katie held leadership roles at two prominent California-based healthcare systems, was a consultant for PwC Australia, and held academic research positions at the University of California San Francisco and the University of Sydney. She has deep expertise and experience leading and coaching change in diverse industries and organizations of all sizes.
Katie is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences on lean leadership and coaching. In addition to her books, she has co-authored multiple publications on lean, healthcare quality, and health policy. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Stanford University and was a Fulbright Scholar in Australia, where she received her master’s degree in public health from Sydney University.
