In his 30-plus years of experience in operations management and consulting, Henry has helped over 100 clients in North America, Europe, and Asia meet operations challenges by adopting lean thinking and practices in manufacturing, administration, service, product development, supply chain, and logistics. He has worked in the automotive, heavy machinery, electronics, semiconductor, food/pharmaceutical, chemical, consumer goods, logistics, and service industries.
Before founding LeanOrigin, Henry honed his lean management capabilities in various manufacturing and consulting positions. He was the manufacturing director at Chery-Quantum auto company, the vice president of Lean Enterprise China, a senior specialist at McKinsey & Company, a Trim & Chassis leader at Ford Motor, and a production engineer at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky, Inc. In addition, he translated the books The Toyota Product Development System, Managing to Learn, and Perfecting Patient Journeys, published by LEI, into Chinese.
Henry received a Master of Science in Manufacturing Technology from Eastern Kentucky University.
