The interesting and challenging technical work at TechnipFMC Schilling Robotics, a maker of manipulators and underwater vehicles for deep ocean work, just naturally created a good corporate culture, according to Tyler Schilling, company founder and president.
Getting to the next level will have to be on purpose.
“Like a lot of things, if you want to achieve a great outcome, it universally requires a lot of thought and a lot of work and culture is no different than any other project or task that you work on,” says Schilling, who believes companies can develop good corporate cultures by accident, but great cultures take purpose.
