Mark Donovan, co-founder of the knitwear company Wooden Ships, shares how he's worked to build the problem solving capabilities of his team members.

At the 2014 Lean Transformation Summit, I gave the following “lean talk” on how we are improving our work at Wooden Ships, while developing the problem solving capabilities of our team members. For us, this means fostering a PDCA mindset everywhere, setting high expectations, and focusing on the fundamentals skills and processes that deliver value.
