Teaching a ‘Lean Startup’ Strategy
A new MBA elective course at Harvard, called Launching Technology Ventures, uses a lot of concepts from the "lean startup" methodology, which is based on avoiding waste in time and money. Lean startup concepts include "minimum viable product" (MVP), a bare-bones product that includes just enough features to allow useful feedback from early adopters, and "pivoting," a major change in a company's direction based on feedback.
